Abomination by Genesisnx Abomination by Genesisnx

How lawd, finally some art for Kingdom. I feel really bad for neglecting the project, but, I've been focusing on a different project that isn't currently on Deviantart and probably wont be until its completion. Hopefully I'll be able to do some more Kingdom related things, finding time however is quite difficult.

Anyway, information:

Created by the Scathis organization Glindlemek, Abominations are twisted creations of the lead scientist Ingur and his equally depraved Nalariid followers. Primarily, they were created to bolster the ranks of the Scathic army, using abducted Nelem citizens, when numbers quickly dwindled while fighting the might of Nelem, however it was quickly determined that they had great shock value and so were often deployed to incite fear within smaller communities, or round further candidates for the transformation process up.

The average Abomination is a mismatch of machine and organics, usually done on purpose to increase the shock factor or as a result of random experimentation, very rarely are full transformations seen.

Unwilling subjects, typically those that have been abducted from Nelem, will have their orbs and carapaces removed, leaving them flightless, without powers and susceptible to infections, which is combated by a virulent concoction of chemicals that are constantly pumped throughout the bodily systems. The chemicals also contain various drugs that, not only enhance performance, but also turn the subjects into crazed beasts with little knowledge of their former selves.

Vision usually remains intact but if it is damaged in away while the carapace is removed then an ocular system is implemented and trained to the Nalariid's nervous system, allowing them to see visible light.

Nalariids of Scathic origin who willingly sign themselves over to the program are treated no differently and find themselves monsters alongside their Nelem counterparts. It has not been unheard of for either to be rescued by Nohmek, the Xadua Scientific Foundation, and rehabilitated to some extent.

Slimy, savage, and brutal.  Great details down to the stitches in the legs and the slithery green techno-organic tubes/muscles. . . . although I would go by that that a really agile fighter might be able to drain them dry pretty easily - although the pain might make the abomination go crazy and really shred . . . . .
